Please make sure you pack at least 1 jumper &amp; long pants, cold snaps can come through at any time of the year, so be prepared. (During the winter, especially June to August the temperatures can drop below zero in outback regions).

For the most part no, however depending on your phone plan you may get reception around the towns of Katherine, Kununurra &amp; Derby. The best carrier for reception appears to be Telstra.

Generally no. You&nbsp;are travelling through a very remote areas and have a preference for wilderness camping. The tour&nbsp;does however spend lots of time swimming (no soap in creeks etc), and has developed several good bush options for those who are desperate. Don&rsquo;t worry, you&rsquo;ll be fine!

During the days as you&nbsp;travel, the tour&nbsp;often stops at places where there are normal flushing toilets and / or basic toilets, these places include petrol stations &amp; National Parks. When camping, the tour&nbsp;prefers&nbsp;to camp in the wilderness, which means there are no toilets. The tour does carry a portable toilet which is used by both girls and boys doing a number 2, and girls doing a number 1. Boys doing a number 1 can find a tree.

June, July and August are normally the most comfortable times to travel, nights are cool and days are a warm but not typically too hot, around 25 &ndash; 30 degrees Celsius is common. If you are travelling in April, May, September or October in the Kimberley, it will be BLOODY HOT. Days over 40 degrees Celsius are common.

The tour provides lots of fresh food on our tours and often receive positive feedback re the cooking skills of our guides. Each guide is responsible for their own menu so we cannot provide you with specific details of each meal, however here&rsquo;s a general guide of what to expect.

Breakfast

Normally consists of cereal &amp; muesli with milk &amp; toast with spreads, teas and coffee. Each passenger is responsible for preparing their own breakfast.

Lunch.

Normally consists of wraps, rolls &amp; bread with cold meat, salad and condiments etc. Each passenger is responsible for preparing their own lunch.

&nbsp;

Dinner

Each night will different, expect BBQ&rsquo;s, Pasta dishes, stir frys, roasts in the camp oven etc. Your guide is responsible for preparing the evening meal, however, will request assistance in preparation of vegetables etc. If you are a keen cook there are normally opportunities for you to take over and put your own stamp on a meal or two.

The meals are designed to cater for meat eaters and vegetarians. The tour does&nbsp;not cater for Gluten-free diets.

The tour has&nbsp;a general limit of 15kg per person in a soft bag.

Itinerary:

Day 1:&nbsp;

&nbsp;

The tour&nbsp;picks you up in Perth at 6 am, getting out of the city nice and early. The&nbsp;first stop is Nambung National Park, home of the Pinnacles. From here the tour&nbsp;continues north&nbsp;to Kalbarri National Park. You&#39;ll explore some of the coastal areas&nbsp;of Kalbarri in the afternoon, which includes sections of the Bigurda Trail &amp; Eagle Gorge. After a bit of outdoor action, the tour heads to your&nbsp;first bush camp of the tour.

&nbsp;

Bush camping is one of the best experiences on this&nbsp;tour! Camp spots&nbsp;are located in beautiful wilderness areas among some of the most stunning landscapes. Where possible the tour has&nbsp;a campfire and uses swags and tents.&nbsp;Swags can be used under the stars or in the tents. The first camp is 100% exclusive on a private farming property near Kalbarri National Park.

Day 2:

&nbsp;

Rise with the sun and get moving early. From camp, the tour heads into Kalbarri National Park where you&#39;ll&nbsp;explore the inland gorges of the park including Murchison Gorge &amp; Natures Window. From Kalbarri, the tour heads north towards Shark Bay and Monkey Mia. The tour drops into the amazing Shell Beach, which is a beach made of millions of.. you guessed it, shells! Then you&#39;ll head to another awesome&nbsp;campsite on the coast where we are immersed in total wilderness and surrounded by nature.

Day 3:

&nbsp;

Wake up early and head for Monkey Mia. Here you&#39;ll spend quality time with the dolphins and participate in a feeding session. Wild dolphins have been visiting the shoreline at Monkey Mia every day for over 40 years,&nbsp;making this spot in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area one of the best and most reliable places for dolphin interaction in the world. The dolphin interactions are regulated by rangers and a few lucky visitors are selected to hand-feed the dolphins a small amount of fish.

&nbsp;

From Monkey Mia, the tour&nbsp;heads for Coral Bay. Tonight&#39;s campsite is one of our best&nbsp;on Aboriginal Land. On most trips, the tour&nbsp;also participates in a cultural activity where one of the&nbsp;Aboriginal traditional owners will sit&nbsp;around the campfire and talk about the spiritual significance of the place where their ancestors have lived for thousands of years. This is always a special experience!&nbsp;On some occasions, this activity is not available due to Cultural reasons. Tonight you&#39;ll&nbsp;sleep under the very same stars that Aboriginal people have been sleeping under for millennia.

Day 4:&nbsp;

Coral Bay is only 5 minutes down a bush track. Spend all day at Coral Bay where there is a variety of activities to suit all tastes and budgets, including;

&nbsp;

If you are planning on doing a Whale Shark cruise, it is best to wait to book this until you join the tour so that you maximise your chances of a successful cruise. Your guide will look at the weather forecast and will also know where the best place is to see Whale Sharks.&nbsp;In the afternoon you&#39;ll head back to camp.

Day 5:

&nbsp;

From the&nbsp;Coral Bay campsite, you&#39;ll&nbsp;head a short distance north to the town of Exmouth and the Cape Range National Park.&nbsp;More coastal delights include&nbsp;a place called Turquoise Bay, where the coral reef comes right up to the beach. The tour spends&nbsp;time here exploring the reef where you&#39;ll&nbsp;see tropical fish, turtles, and dolphins.

&nbsp;

In addition to Turquoise Bay, the Cape Range National Park is home to Yardie Creek. This is a coastal gorge that includes a great hike and more swimming opportunities. The tour&nbsp;accesses&nbsp;another private wilderness camp right on the Exmouth Bay and enjoys time under the stars and around the campfire.

Day 6:

&nbsp;

Today you&#39;ll head inland to the spectacular Pilbara Region and Karijini National Park. Karijini is a highlight of the trip as you&nbsp;spend the final days of the tour exploring the spectacular gorges and waterfalls.

The tour spends two&nbsp;nights at Karijini, which provides&nbsp;easy access to the plethora of amazing places to swim, hike, and explore. Upon arrival, the tour heads&nbsp;to Hamersley Gorge in the North of the Park. Hamersley is spectacular!&nbsp;There is a steep climb down to a beautiful pool where most people stay, however, you&nbsp;can follow the creek up&nbsp;a few kilometres into&nbsp;waterholes!

Day 7:&nbsp;

&nbsp;

The tour takes the next two&nbsp;days to explore the remainder of Karijini National Park. Slot canyons, deep gorges and waterfalls surround&nbsp;this outback oasis. Head into the Weana area to find:

There is so much to explore as well as great hiking and swimming!&nbsp;At the end of Day 7, the tour&nbsp;heads to a National Park Campground to cook&nbsp;up another feast.

Day 8:

&nbsp;

On Day 8, the tour normally checks out the East Karijini delights of Fortescue Falls, Fern Pool &amp; Dales Gorge. Again an action-packed day exploring, hiking, and swimming. After lunch, the tour&nbsp;heads off to your final wilderness camp of the tour. Again you&#39;ll&nbsp;have a private spot located on a cattle station where you&nbsp;can crank up the campfire and cook&nbsp;a feast.

Day 9:

&nbsp;

Today the tour&nbsp;pushes through the Pilbara region via Marble Bar, home to the famous Iron Clad Hotel where you&nbsp;can stop for a refreshment and good Aussie hospitality. Marble Bar is a unique outback town with a strong history, it&nbsp;also claims the title of Australia&rsquo;s hottest town! Summers are always up there in the high 40&rsquo;s however back in 1922, long before anyone had invented air conditioning it got to a whopping 49.2C!

&nbsp;

The tour gradually leaves the rugged Pilbara behind&nbsp;on a network of&nbsp;dirt roads and emerge back to the west coast near 80-mile beach south of Broome. After a refreshing swim, the tour&nbsp;pushes on to Broome where you finish the&nbsp;expedition with a swim and classic Cable Beach Sunset.
