This tour requires all the basics you would typically bring on any trip e.g. toiletries, towels, camera and extra money for optional snacks and activities. Due to the nature of the&nbsp;tour, we recommend bringing sturdy walking shoes (preferably ankle high), swimming gear, hat, sunscreen, water bottle, torch, insect repellent and&nbsp;fly net to cover your head if you are bothered by flies (outback tours particularly).&nbsp;

Pack only your bare essentials. Due to limited space and strictly enforced road laws regarding weight limits, you&nbsp;can carry a&nbsp;maximum of 10&nbsp;kg.&nbsp;You are required to limit your luggage to&nbsp;one small to medium sized soft bag or backpack and a small daypack,&nbsp;which can be carried inside the vehicle. We cannot guarantee to carry overweight or oversized luggage. Please store bulky items at your pre-tour accommodation. It may be necessary to freight excess luggage at your own expense.

Day 1: Broome to Windjana Gorge

Broome, Western Australia&nbsp;is a laid-back and beautiful coastal&nbsp;town. Your trip will depart there, but before you know it you&#39;ll be deep into the wild Australian west. After a bit of driving, you will arrive at the Fitzroy River, then move off-road towards the Napier Range. While here, you will get to experience a guided walk through Tunnel Creek, which is an extensive underground cave system that extends a whopping 750 metres! You&#39;re sure to be tired after all that walking around, so head to camp for some dinner and a good sleep.

Day 2: Bell Gorge 
Today, you will wake up and head to Windjana Gorge, which was once an underwater reef about 350 million years ago. The gorge becomes an active river during wet season, but remains a series of ponds and billabongs during the dry season. You will have a while to explore the gorge, maybe spotting some crocodiles along the way. There will be many more gorges to see on this trip, including Bell Gorge, which is home to a stunning cascade of water that results from the previous wet season&#39;s rainfall. The remainder of the day will include free time to swim in the gorge&#39;s large plunge pool before you make your way to your campsite&nbsp;along the Gibb River Road.

Day 3: Manning Gorge

On day 3, you will hike to Manning Gorge, where you will spend the morning exploring the area and swimming in the large rock&nbsp;pools under Manning Falls. Then, spend the afternoon exploring Adcock Gorge or Galvans Gorge before heading back to your camp to eat dinner and relax around the campfire.

Day 4: Gibb River Road to El Questro 
Day 4 will begin with a 4WD along the 600-kilometre Gibb River Road, passing an abundance of&nbsp;rivers and gorges that make up the Kimberley region. This remote and extraordinary country setting will provide an authentic taste of historic Australia. You will continue across the Pentecost River, then arriving at&nbsp;the famous El Questro Station, where you&rsquo;ll spend the night camping under the stars.

Day 5: El Questro Station

Today, you get the treat of not having to pack up camp, as you will be staying in the same spot for the night. You will spend the day exploring&nbsp;the amazing sights of El Questro Station, which include boab trees and lots of wildlife. Enjoy a relaxing swim at Zebedee Springs before tackling the hike into either Emma Gorge or El Questro Gorge, where you will be rewarded with a stunning waterfall and a swim. Then, head back to your campsite where you can&nbsp;enjoy dinner and a much-deserved drink at the station bar.

Day 6: Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungle Range)

It&#39;s time to say goodbye to El Questro and hello to the world heritage-listed&nbsp;Bungle Bungles in&nbsp;Purnululu National Park. You and your group will drive through the&nbsp;rugged landscape of Carr Boyd and the Durack Ranges&nbsp;on the way. Once at the national park, you will set up camp and have some time to explore the area, which is home to&nbsp;massive sandstone karsts that are hundreds of metres tall. Then, head back to camp to relax and watch the sunset over the&nbsp;Osmond Ranges. If you&rsquo;ve had enough of tent camping by now, you have the option to spend tonight sleeping out beneath the stars snuggled up in a swag.

Day 7: The Bungle Bungles

Try and eat a big breakfast this morning, because you&#39;re about to have an action-packed day. You will start by exploring the impressive rock formations of the&nbsp;Bungle Bungle Range.&nbsp;Next, hike to the constricted, red gap of Echidna Chasm and the immense Cathedral Gorge.&nbsp;If you&#39;d like, you will also have the chance to experience another perspective of the Bungles in a helicopter flight (additional fees apply). As the sun goes down, head back to your overnight bush camp.

Day 8: Bungle Bungles and Lake Argyle

It&#39;s time for more 4WD action today as you wind your way out of the Bungle Bungles. You will have time to take a look around the picturesque town of Kununurra before&nbsp;travelling down beside the Ord River to make set up camp at Lake Argyle. If you&#39;re looking to relax, soak in the famous infinity pool overlooking the magnificent Lake Argyle, a manmade lake that was forged by the Ord River Dam.&nbsp;You&nbsp;can also opt to take&nbsp;a cruise around the lake (additional fees apply). Lake Argyle is the biggest manmade lake in Australia, at&nbsp;18 times the size of Sydney Harbour!

After breakfast, it&#39;s time to depart Western Australia and cross the border into Northern Territory. You will spend the day enjoying even more views of ancient Boab trees as you make your way towards your final campsite for the tour. You will be camping just outside of&nbsp;Nitmiluk National Park in the Katherine Region. Enjoy a final communal dinner with your new travel friends.&nbsp;

Please book any onward travel the following day.
