No trip to Broome is complete without a visit to the&nbsp;Dampier Peninsula. This tour showcases all the best of the region in just two days.

Tour departs from Kimberley Travellers Lodge at 7:00am sharp. The Kimberley Travellers Lodge (2 Bagot Street, Broome) is a ten-minute walk from the airport, or you can arrange a taxi or transfer bus upon arrival at the airport.

The supplier can&nbsp;arrange pick-up at your selected Broome accommodation. Please advise the supplier of your accommodation at the time of booking if it differs from the above and they can advise pick-up time.

The Dampier Peninsula is one of Western Australia&#39;s most striking coastal regions, located north of Broome. The peninsula is renowned for its ochre-coloured earth and clear blue waters. It is set within the Kimberley region, known for its rich First Nations culture. For all these reasons and more, the Dampier Peninsula is a must-see destination when visiting Australia&#39;s west coast.&nbsp;

One this two-day tour of the area, you will get to visit the local communities, learn about the history of the region, and gain an understanding of the Bardi-Jawi people and their lifestyle. You will also get the unique opportunity to tour one of Australia&rsquo;s oldest pearl farms and witness&nbsp;the pearl hatching process.&nbsp;

Some other tour highlights include a tour through the islands surrounding the peninsula on a private boat cruise and the chance to personally explore the scenery of&nbsp;Cape Leveque as you swim, snorkel or walk at your leisure. You will even get to stop at one of the islands to spend the night at a&nbsp;Coastal Safari camp!

Although this tour is only two days long, the amount of activities it packs in makes it a great opportunity for travellers with limited time.

Day 1: Beagle Bay, Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm &amp; Buccaneer Archipelago

The Dampier Peninsula, located just north of Broome, is an area rich in&nbsp;Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and stunning coastlines. Your tour will begin with a drive with a drive up the peninsula, led by an experienced local guide who will provide information about the region. You will stop for morning tea at the&nbsp;Beagle Bay Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Community, home of the Beagle Bay Church and its glimmering pearl shell altar.&nbsp;

Next stop is One Arm Point (also known as Ardyaloon), which is home to the&nbsp;Bardi-Jawi community of First Nations Australians. While there, you will get to visit the local aquaculture hatchery, which harvests&nbsp;barramundi, pearl and trochus shell. You will also visit Kevin and Donna, traditional owners from One Arm Point, who will share stories about life on the peninsula and the history of the area. They will prepare a traditional sand-cooked damper to enjoy alongside your picnic lunch.&nbsp;

After lunch, continue your journey to&nbsp;Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm,&nbsp;one of Australia&#39;s oldest pearl farms. From there, take a cruise through the&nbsp;Islands of the Giant Tides.&nbsp;The cruise will lead you to a remote private safari camp, where you will spend the night. The camp overlooks the beautiful bay. While there, enjoy some free time to swim, snorkel or walk through the sand dunes.&nbsp;

Day 2: Kooljaman, Cape Leveque &amp; Broome

In the morning, a boat will bring you back to Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, where you will be led on a tour of the family-run facilities. You will learn all about the fascinating world of pearling from local guides who have been in the industry for generations.

&nbsp;

After your tour, you will visit Kooljaman at Cape Leveque. While there,&nbsp;you will have the option to have a swim on the Eastern beach, take a walk&nbsp;over the Cape or, if you prefer, trek along the Western beach, home to famous red sandstone cliffs that tower above the white sand. Whatever you choose, you are sure to see some incredible sights along the way. In the afternoon, you will be driven back to Broome, where your tour will end. You will arrive back in town at approximately 6:00 pm.&nbsp;
