This is a great way to get started with diving. We love that this trip caters for all levels - beginner to advanced - and that it gives those less confident the chance to get familiar with diving techniques before&nbsp;taking the plunge.&nbsp;

Cancellations and transfers more than 24 hours from trip departure will be accepted in most cases. Cancellations within 24 hours of trip departure will incur a cancellation fees of $100.00 per person. A substitute dive is welcome at no cost. In the event of non&nbsp;attendance&nbsp;full payment is forfeited. 
 
For individual bookings: Cancellations and transfers more than 24 hours from trip departure will be accepted in most cases. Cancellations within 24 hours of trip departure will incur a cancellation fee of $100 per person. 
 
In the event of non attendance full payment is forfeited. 
 
For group bookings of 4 or more, or sole charters: Cancellations and transfers more than 48 hours from trip departure will be accepted in most cases. 
Cancellations within 48 hours of trip departure will incur a cancellation fee of 50%. Within 24 hours of departure full payment will be taken. If we cancel the trip due to bad weather or mechanical breakdown , a full refund will be provided. Seasickness or an inability to equalize do not warranty a refund

Beginner Discover Scuba Divers optional second dive carries an extra charge.

Please bring your swimsuit, towel, sunblock, camera, and something warm to wear after diving.

You are welcome to bring your own lunch, or we are happy to provide a packed lunch for $12.00. Just let us know if you would like the meat or&nbsp;vegetarian&nbsp;option.

This is the perfect way to get a taste of diving and learn techniques with experienced instructors! by the end of the day, you&#39;ll feel confident ans water ready. 
 
Meet&nbsp;at the dive shop on Williams Road at&nbsp;7:45am, ready to start your day!&nbsp; After&nbsp;the paperwork and equipment is organised, its time to load the boat onto the Paihia Wharf and begin your dive adventure. 
 
On the way out to the dive site,&nbsp;you&#39;ll cruise through the stunning Bay of Islands and even see dolphins, penguins, seals and marine bird life. The boat journey takes about 30 minutes, so there&#39;s plenty of time to soak in the scenery and enjoy exploring the New Zeland waters. 
 
Once you arrive at the dive site in Deep Water Cove, it&#39;s time to jump in! First up is the wreck dive for advanced divers. While the experts do their thing, beginners and those less confident with gear up and listen to a safety briefing. Learn some basic skills,&nbsp;get&nbsp;comfortable with breathing underwater and then take the plunge, descending to a maximum depth of 12 metres. Once you feel comfortable, it&#39;s time for a tour of the underwater marine life.&nbsp; 
 
Later, it&#39;s time for lunch aboard the boat. Bring your own snacks or enjoy a packed lunch that can be purchased for $12. 
 
After lunch,&nbsp;head to one of the&nbsp;great reef dive sites for some more underwater action. You&#39;ll have the chance to check out some marine life here, so keep your eyes open! Deep Water Cove is a marine reserve, so the marine life in this area is incredible. 
 
If time permits, there&#39;s also the chance to try&nbsp;snorkelling here. The beginner Discover Scuba Divers might also have the chance to complete a second dive! (Please note this is an extra charge). 
 
Once all the diving is done, cruise back through the islands to Paihia. You&#39;ll arrive back at the wharf around 3:30pm.&nbsp;

Paihia Dive

Our family had a wonderful first diving experience. I was the one wanted to charlenge myself for my new year's wish list. Now I did it! 

Also extend the list to my husband and children. Expecialy with my daughter, she was scared about deep water, but now she learned how to overcome the fear and just do it. Which was great! 

We will come back for sure!
