The boat gets you close to the beach, however, you may get wet feet as you step onto shore.

How to get to Coles Bay

Freycinet Aqua Express departs from the Coles Bay Boat Ramp, Garnet Avenue, Coles Bay with Freycinet Lodge pick up available. Pre-bookings are recommended with last minute bookings welcome.

Guests are required to be at departure points 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure.

To get to Coles Bay from Hobart head north on the Tasman A3 Highway for 185kms (approx 2&frac12;hrs drive). From Launceston, head south on National Highway 1 onto Lake Leake B34 Highway (approx 2hrs drive).
