Yes, there is free parking for visitors, coach parking for larger groups and a spacious disabled parking space close to the entrance.

Allow a minimum of 90 minutes to make the most of Eagles Heritage. Bird of Prey Encounters run for approximately 40 minutes. The 1km birds of prey forest walk takes approximately 35-40 minutes. There is also a short walk alternative which takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

Eagles Heritage makes a concerted effort to ensure our facilities are accessible to all visitors. The Birds of Prey Forest Walk is an unsealed gravel pathway and is more suitable for all-terrain prams and wheelchairs.

The Bird of Prey Encounters may be adjusted according to how much rain is falling. During heavy rain or wind, visitors will be provided with the opportunity to meet one of the resident barn owls. During extreme rain or wind, the Bird of Prey Encounters will be cancelled.

Eagles Heritage sell drinks and ice-cream. You are welcome to bring your own food and have lunch in the undercover area. Please help by throwing away rubbish in the bins provided, as well as recycling plastic and aluminum cans.

Established in 1987, Eagles Heritage&nbsp;is one of Australia&rsquo;s largest birds of prey sancturaries dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of injured, orphaned or displaced birds of prey.

From up-close encounters to lush native forest trails, a visit to Eagles Heritage will provide you with the unique opportunity to meet and interact with birds of prey, including; eagles, hawks, falcons and owls.

Stop by for one of the twice daily Birds of Prey Encounters (11am and 1:30pm), an awe-inspiring experience that takes you one step closer to birds of prey. Marvel at their unique adaptions and natural behaviours and experience the rare opportunity to have your photograph taken with a barn owl!

An easy hike down one of the native forest trails, will allow you to explore and enjoy the bush-land sanctuary, which is home to over 40 resident birds of prey. Not all birds are able to return to the wild due to permanent injuries, so Eagles Heritage provides a home and long-term care.

Did you know

Away from the public view, seven acres at Eagles Heritage has been set aside for wildlife rehabilitation, including a hospital and specialised facilities designed to help sick, injured and orphaned birds of prey return to the wild.

&nbsp;

Eagles Heritage is proud to be associated with the Society for the Preservation of Raptors (Inc.), a not-for-profit association dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and conservation of birds of prey and owls.

When you visit us, your admission and purchases support the ongoing protection of birds of prey through rehabilitation, education and conservation.

Opening days/times

There are two Birds of Prey Encounters daily at 11am &amp; 1.30pm and is the highlight of the visit. You can complete your self-guided birds of prey forest walk before or after the encounter.

Open 10am to 4pm, Thursday to Monday. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
