Your day around Port Phillip Bay starts early, departing at 7:30 am and journeying south of Melbourne&nbsp;to St Kilda, hugging the coast all the way. The first stop is&nbsp;Mornington Pier, where the tour breaks for morning tea (own expense).

Then, as the journey continues, get closer to the scenic water&nbsp;when the tour stops at some glorious beaches along the way to take in the fantastic views and have a close look at the famous colourful&nbsp;bathing huts.

&nbsp;

Turning inland, visit&nbsp;Arthur&#39;s Seat, where you will enjoy the magnificent views of the bay.&nbsp;For an even better view of the bay, take the state-of-the-art gondola at the Arthurs Seat Eagle and fly over the forest (not included). Your driver will collect you at the bottom of the mountain.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

While you&#39;re in the Mornington Peninsula region, depending on time and availability, there are optional add-ons. These include&nbsp;Ashcombe Maze &amp; Lavender Gardens, a strawberry and cherry farm, a visit to a local winery, or stopping at the&nbsp;Mornington Peninsula National Park. Entry and participation is additional and not compulsory.

Travel to&nbsp;Sorrento for lunch (own expense) and explore some of the local retail stores. Located at the southern end of the bay, with the Bass Strait on the other side, this laidback village has plenty of galleries, boutiques, and restaurants located in the imposing limestone buildings.&nbsp;

&nbsp;

Then it is time to board the ferry to cross the bay to Queenscliff; keep an eye out for&nbsp;dolphins and the odd whale as well!&nbsp;Once over the bay, you&#39;ll take a slow drive around Queenscliff before finally&nbsp;visiting the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse, which is at the entry of Port Phillip Bay.&nbsp;Great views&nbsp;of the Heads of Port Phillip Bay can be seen along the jetty at the lighthouse.

&nbsp;

Turning back towards the city,&nbsp;take a drive through Geelong&#39;s magnificent waterfront. Then, return directly to Melbourne on the freeway, entering Melbourne via the Westgate bridge around 6:00 pm.&nbsp;
